Irish Outback Adventures is a family business headed up by Alex P. Corcoran. Alex studied Electrical Engineering at Galway Technical College and later set up his own electrical engineering business in London. He studied for his UK Civil Aviation Authority Commercial Pilot’s examinations at the School of Aviation and Maritime studies at Tower Bridge, London and took his Commercial Pilot’s flight examinations with Captain Die-Heather Hayes (ex RAF Red Arrows) at Perth, Scotland. Alex is the author of the Sky’s The Limit, an aviation book for student pilots.

Alex is also a qualified Scuba Diver, double marathon runner and avid cyclist and is a member of Westport Mountaineering and Hillwalking Club. He is also a trained Scout Leader and trains six to eight year old boys and girls (Beavers) on the outdoors, nature, the environment and wildlife. Alex has fished for salmon and trout in the lakes and rivers of the west of Ireland since the age of four. He looks forward to welcoming you.
